Roz Slovic is a Senior Research Assistant at the University of Oregon. During the past 16 years, she has coordinated federally funded projects to work with families, high school students/young adults with disability, teachers, community college professional technical education faculty and Disability Service Office personnel, VRD counselors, Centers for Independent Living specialists, etc., to provide opportunities and options for people with disability.

Roz is a member of the State Independent Living Council, past member of the State Rehabilitation Council and the Oregon Parent Training and Information Center and on the planning committee for the state- wide Youth Leadership Forum and Avoiding Future Shock conference.

She is also a national trainer on a variety of person centered planning tools. Her work is strongly influenced by her experiences as the mother of a son with learning disabilities.
