Brigid Flannery is a Research Associate/Assistant Professor in the College of Education at the University of Oregon with expertise in transition for young adults with disabilities, post-secondary education, and positive behavioral support. Her work is in collaboration with schools or other community agencies such as community colleges, vocational rehabilitation, and Centers for Independent Living. Before coming to the University of Oregon in 1984, she was a supervisor and teacher of students with moderate and severe disabilities from preschool through young adult in both residential and public school settings. Presently she is very active in the Middle-Secondary special education preservice training program.
